This tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and you can even turn off your internet connection before you start.
How it works
- Write the balance brought forward at the top.
- Enter each payment in or out on its own line with the receipt number, and carry the balance down.
- Count the cash at the end of the month; it should match the last balance.
- Download and print a sheet for each month.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I keep a petty cash log?
- Start with the float as the balance brought forward. For each payment write the date, what it was for and the receipt number, put the amount in the Out column and take it off the balance. Top-ups go in the In column.
- Can I add columns?
- Yes — for example a column for the cost category or VAT. Each line of the columns box is one column; add |2 to make it wider.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. The PDF is drawn in your browser, so whatever you type stays on your computer.
- Is it free?
- Yes. The free plan adds a small line at the foot of the sheet; Pro leaves it off.
