How it works
- Type a heading, and the lines you want to fill in by hand at the top.
- Type the column headings, one per line. Add |2 after one to make it twice as wide, or * to make it a column of tick boxes.
- Choose how many rows, and whether the first column fills itself in with weekdays or dates.
- Add boxes underneath if the sheet needs somewhere to write a paragraph. Then download and print.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I make one column wider than the others?
- Put |2 after the heading — “Notes|2” makes that column twice the width of a plain one, |3 three times, and so on up to |6. The widths are shared out from those numbers, so you never have to work out millimetres.
- Can I get a column of tick boxes?
- Yes, two ways. Put * after a single heading to make just that column tick boxes, or set “the columns after the first are: tick boxes” to turn every column but the first into them, which is what a chore chart wants.
- What if the rows do not fit on one page?
- They carry on to the next one, with the headings repeated at the top of it.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. The PDF is drawn in your browser, so whatever you type stays on your computer.
- Is it free?
- Yes. The free plan adds a small line at the foot of the sheet; Pro leaves it off.
