Frequently asked questions
- Which level should I start with?
- O’clock first, then half past, then quarter past and quarter to, then five-minute steps: roughly first grade to third. Any minute is for children who can already read the five-minute marks.
- How is the 24-hour sheet different?
- The clock face is the same — it cannot show morning or afternoon — so “morning” or “afternoon” is written under each clock and the answer is the 24-hour time, 15:45 rather than 3:45. On the drawing sheet the times are written the 24-hour way and the child draws the hands.
- Do the hour hands point in the right place?
- Yes. The hour hand moves on through the hour, as on a real clock: at half past three it points halfway between 3 and 4, not at the 3.
- Can I print a different sheet with the same settings?
- Change the sheet number. The times come from that number and the settings, so the preview is exactly what you print, and no time repeats on a page.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. The sheet is made in your browser. On the free plan a small line with our name is printed at the foot of the last page.
