How it works
- Choose the layout that matches your sheet — the number of labels on it is the quickest way to tell.
- Type the labels: one to a line, or leave a blank line between labels that run over several lines.
- Set how many copies of each you want, and which label to start on if the sheet is part used.
- Tick the outlines and print once on plain paper to check the alignment, then print on the labels at 100 %.
Frequently asked questions
- Will it match the sheets I bought?
- The layouts here are the common ones — 12, 21, 24, 44 and 65 to an A4 sheet, 10 and 30 to a letter sheet — and each block is centred on the paper the way those sheets are made. Packs vary, so check the measurements on yours, and use “measure my own sheet” if they differ.
- How do I print the same name on a whole sheet?
- Type it once and set “copies of each label” to the number on the sheet — 65 for the smallest A4 layout. That is how a sheet of school name labels is made.
- Can I use a sheet that already has labels peeled off it?
- Yes. Count the labels already gone, left to right and top to bottom, and set “first label to use” to the next one. The earlier positions are left blank.
- Can it number the labels?
- Yes. Put {n} where the number goes and set the number to start at. Each label counts on by one, which is what inventory and raffle labels need.
- The print is a few millimetres off my labels. Can I fix it?
- Yes — use the two nudge boxes. Print the outlines on plain paper first, hold it against a label sheet up to the light, and nudge by the difference you see. Also check that the printer is set to 100 % and not “fit to page”, which shrinks everything by a few per cent.
- Is it free, and is there a watermark?
- It is free, and label sheets never carry a line of ours: they are stuck on parcels and lunch boxes, so there is nowhere for it to go.
