How it works
- Type each badge as a block: the name on the first line, the company or role under it, with a blank line before the next person.
- Choose the 8-per-sheet layout for a badge that fits a holder, or 10 for a smaller one.
- Leave the emphasis on “first line larger” so the name carries across a room.
- Print on badge label sheets, or on card and cut along the outlines.
Frequently asked questions
- How big are the badges?
- The 8-per-sheet layout is 99.1 × 67.7 mm, which fits the common clip-on holders; 10 per sheet gives 86.4 × 50.8 mm.
- Can I put the company under the name?
- Yes — that is what the second line of each block is. The first line is set larger, the rest smaller, so the name reads first.
- Can I print them on card instead of labels?
- Yes. Tick the outlines and cut along them; the sizes are the same either way.
- The print is a few millimetres off my labels. Can I fix it?
- Yes — use the two nudge boxes. Print the outlines on plain paper first, hold it against a label sheet up to the light, and nudge by the difference you see. Also check that the printer is set to 100 % and not “fit to page”, which shrinks everything by a few per cent.
- Is it free, and is there a watermark?
- It is free, and label sheets never carry a line of ours: they are stuck on parcels and lunch boxes, so there is nowhere for it to go.
