How it works

1. Type or paste the lines, one label per line. A blank line leaves a label empty, which is how you start part-way down a part-used sheet.
2. Choose whether the text sits left or centred, and whether the first or last line stands out.
3. Print one copy on plain paper first and hold it against the packet up to the light. Printers shift a page by a millimetre or two and it is cheaper to find out on paper.
4. Load the labels and print. Turn off any "fit to page" or "shrink oversized" setting, which is what moves a correct template off register.

Frequently asked questions

Will it line up with my labels?

It should. The layout is 30 labels of 66.7 × 25.4 mm, 3 across and 10 down, centred on US Letter — which reproduces the published measurements of the sheets in the shops to a tenth of a millimetre. But packets vary between makers even at the same count, so print one on plain paper and hold it against the sheet before you commit a real one.

It is a millimetre out. Can I nudge it?

Yes. The generator takes an offset in millimetres, so a printer that pulls the page down slightly can be corrected once and then forgotten. Nudge rather than switch templates: being consistently out by the same small amount is a printer, not a wrong layout.

My packet says a different size at the same count.

Then use the custom layout: measure one label and the gap between two, put those numbers in, and the sheet is built to what you actually have. That is the honest route — a template that nearly fits wastes the whole sheet, not one label.

Can I start half way down a used sheet?

Yes. Leave blank lines for the labels already peeled off and the text starts where the labels still are.

Is anything uploaded?

No. The PDF is drawn in your browser and the addresses never leave your device, which is the part that matters when the lines are people’s home addresses.
