How it works

1. Add your photographs — several at once is fine, and each keeps its place in the order you add them.
2. Choose the print size. L and 2L are the Japanese sizes; 4 × 6 and 5 × 7 are the same prints in inches.
3. Choose A4 or letter to fit several on a sheet and cut them out, or “one to a sheet” to print straight onto photo paper.
4. Print at 100 % (“actual size”). On glossy photo paper, set the paper type in the printer dialog as well.

Frequently asked questions

Will the prints come out exactly 4 × 6?

Yes, when the printer is set to 100 % or “actual size”. “Fit to page” shrinks everything by a few per cent, which is enough to spoil a print that has to fit a frame.

Why is part of my photograph cut off?

A phone photograph is 4:3 and a 4 × 6 print is 3:2, so something has to give. “Fill the frame” crops the long sides, which is what a print shop does; “whole photograph” keeps all of it and leaves white paper at the sides.

How many fit on an A4 sheet?

Four L-size prints, two 5 × 7, nine or more wallet prints. The layout turns the frames if more fit that way.

Are my photographs uploaded?

No. They are laid out in your browser and the PDF never leaves your computer.
