How it works
- Paste your words: one card to a line, the word and its meaning separated by a tab — a spreadsheet column pasted straight in already is.
- Choose double-sided if your printer prints both sides, or fold-over if it does not.
- Choose how many cards go on a sheet. Eight is a card about the size of a business card.
- Print, cut along the lines, and punch a corner if you want them on a ring.
Frequently asked questions
- Will the backs line up with the fronts?
- Yes. The backs are printed mirrored left to right, which is what a duplex printer flipping on the long edge needs. If your printer flips on the short edge, set it to long-edge binding in the print dialog.
- My printer only prints one side. Can I still use it?
- Yes — choose “fold over”. Each card prints its word and its meaning side by side with a fold line between them, so you fold rather than print twice.
- Can I test myself from the meaning instead?
- Yes, tick “meaning on the front instead”. The pair is simply swapped, so one list makes cards either way round.
- Is it free?
- Yes. The free plan adds a small line at the foot of the last sheet, in the margin the cards are cut from; Pro leaves it off.
