Frequently asked questions
- How is the axis numbered?
- Up to 10 in ones, to 20 in twos, to 50 in fives and to 100 in tens, with a faint line at every step so the bars are easy to read off.
- What is in the tally chart?
- A row for each category, a wide column for the tally marks and a narrow one for the total.
- Can the children fill in the categories?
- Yes. Leave the names empty and choose how many: each bar gets a line underneath to write on, and the chart gets empty rows.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. The sheet is made in your browser. On the free plan a small line with our name is printed at the foot of the last page.
