Frequently asked questions
- Why through a notary?
- The notary serves it on the recipient and records when, which proves both what was said and when the deadline started.
- What deadline for unpaid rent?
- At least 30 days for a home or roofed workplace, 10 for other leases (Turkish Code of Obligations, art. 315). The page will not make a rent notice with less.
- Is the paper in Turkish?
- Yes: it is handed in in Turkey, so it is written in Turkish. This page’s form is in English; what you type into the text boxes should be in Turkish.
- Is what I type uploaded?
- No. The PDF is made in your browser and nothing you type leaves your device. Nothing of ours is printed on the paper.
- Is this legal advice?
