How it works

Frequently asked questions
- Does it count as proof of address?
- Brazilian Law 7.115/1983 presumes a residence declaration true when the person concerned signs it under the penalties of the law, and asks that it state the declarant’s responsibility, which the PDF does. Schools and public offices usually accept it; banks may also want a bill or a certified signature.
- Why is it in Portuguese?
- It is handed in in Brazil, so the paper is in Portuguese. Anything you type into the free boxes should be in Portuguese too.
- Is what I type uploaded?
- No. The PDF is made in your browser and nothing you type leaves your device. Nothing of ours is printed on the paper.
- Is this legal advice?
- No, it is a form. If in doubt, ask the office that wants the declaration.
