Frequently asked questions
- What is printed on the blank slip?
- The headings, a line for the pay period and pay date, boxes for the employer and employee, the attendance boxes, the usual earnings and deduction lines named with the amount left empty, empty boxes for gross, deductions and net, and ruled lines for notes.
- Can I print my own lines?
- Yes. As soon as you type any line — attendance, earnings or deductions — the usual ones are all replaced by yours, so type every line you want printed. Amounts you type are not printed on a blank slip; for a filled-in slip, use the payslip generator.
- Does it work out tax or insurance?
- No. Nothing is calculated; the blank slip is for writing in figures worked out elsewhere, which is how many small employers and households keep records.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. The slip is made in your browser. On the free plan a small line with our name is printed at the foot of the last page.
