How it works
- Choose how high the numbers go. To 10 and to 20 are the first two stages; 100 brings in carrying.
- Choose how many sums fit on the page — 30 is a comfortable sheet, 60 is a timed drill.
- Leave the answer key on unless the child is going to mark their own.
- Press Download PDF. Press it again for a completely different sheet at the same level.
Frequently asked questions
- Will a sum ever go past the limit I chose?
- No. The second number is drawn from what is left below the limit, so "up to 20" means every answer lands at 20 or under. That matters more than it sounds: a sheet meant for a child working to 20 that slips a 23 into it is a sheet that gets abandoned halfway.
- Does it carry — the ones column adding past ten?
- At "up to 10" almost never, at "up to 20" sometimes, at 100 and 1000 regularly. So the limit is really a choice about whether carrying is on the menu today, which is usually the thing a parent or teacher is actually choosing.
- Is every sheet different?
- Yes. Each press builds a new set, so the same child can have a fresh page daily at the same level without recognising the answers.
- Where do the answers go?
- On a second page, so you can print both and keep one, or print only the first. Turn the key off if the child marks their own.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. The PDF is drawn in your browser and never leaves the device, and the page works offline once it has loaded.
