Frequently asked questions
- What is on the answer page?
- The whole working: with a two-digit multiplier, one row for each of its digits, the second moved one place left, then the total underneath.
- Is it short or long multiplication?
- Times one digit is short multiplication; times two digits is long multiplication. Pick it under “Digits in the multiplier or divisor”.
- Why does the German page look different?
- Germany writes the sum on one line, 345 · 23, and the partial products under it. The English page uses the column layout taught in the US and UK.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. The sheet is made in your browser. On the free plan a small line with our name is printed at the foot of the last page.
