Frequently asked questions
- What does “with borrowing” mean?
- A digit on the bottom is larger than the one above it, so ten is borrowed from the next column (also called regrouping or exchanging). “None” keeps every bottom digit smaller — the place to start.
- Can the answer be negative?
- No. The number taken away is always smaller than the first, and both have the same number of digits.
- Can I print a different sheet with the same settings?
- Change the sheet number for new sums; the preview is exactly what you print.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. The sheet is made in your browser. On the free plan a small line with our name is printed at the foot of the last page.
