This tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and you can even turn off your internet connection before you start.
How it works
- Choose the level: easy is 6 × 6, harder levels 7 × 7 with longer runs.
- Choose how many puzzles go on the page.
- Download the PDF; the answers are on the second page.
Frequently asked questions
- How is kakuro played?
- Write a digit from 1 to 9 in each white square. In a square split by a diagonal, the number above it is the sum of the run to its right and the number below it the sum of the run underneath; no digit may appear twice in a run.
- Does each puzzle have only one answer?
- Yes. The generator solves every puzzle from its clues alone and refills any grid with a second answer.
- Why only two hard puzzles to a page?
- Runs of five squares take the generator much longer to prove unique, so the hard level stops at two a page to keep the preview quick.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. The sheet is made in your browser. On the free plan a small line with our name is printed at the foot of the last page.
