- Do I need the landlord’s permission?
- Yes (§ 540 BGB). For part of the flat you can claim it if a legitimate interest arose after you signed (§ 553 BGB).
- What notice applies to a room in a shared flat?
- A furnished room in the flat you live in yourself: by the 15th for the end of the month, with no reason needed (§ 549 (2) no. 2, § 573c (3) BGB).
