How it works
- Type the names, one to a line. After a tab, add a table number or a role to print under the name.
- Choose how many cards go on a sheet. Four is the usual size for a dinner table.
- Leave “both sides” on so the card can be read by the guest and from across the table.
- Print on card, cut along the frames, and fold each card along the dashed line.
Frequently asked questions
- Why is half of it printed upside down?
- Because a tent card is folded back on itself. The upper half ends up on the far side, so it is printed the other way up — which is the part that is fiddly to set up by hand and wrong on half the cards people make in a word processor.
- What paper should I use?
- Card of about 200 gsm or more, so it stands up. Ordinary paper works if you fold it twice into a triangle instead.
- Can I print only one side?
- Yes — turn off “print the name on both sides”, and the upper half is left blank for a pattern or a fold-over.
- Is it free, and is there a watermark?
- Free, and there is no line of ours anywhere on it: these stand in front of a guest.
