How it works
- Add the PDF.
- Choose how many pages go on a sheet. Four is the usual choice for a handout; nine or sixteen for a contact sheet of slides.
- Turn the border on if you want each page outlined.
- Download and print. Set your printer to 100 %, not “fit to page”, or everything shrinks twice.
Frequently asked questions
- Will the small pages be blurry?
- No. Each page is drawn again smaller as a vector rather than shrunk as a picture, so the text is as sharp as the printer can manage — it is just smaller.
- Why not use the printer’s own “pages per sheet”?
- You can, when you are printing from a computer with a good driver. Doing it here gives you a file you can send to someone else, print from a phone, or take to a copy shop.
- Can I put them in right-to-left order?
- Yes — there is a reading order setting, which a Japanese handout needs.
- Is my PDF uploaded?
- No. The new file is made in your browser.
