This tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and you can even turn off your internet connection before you start.

How it works

  1. Enter your address and the customer’s, the invoice number and date.
  2. Add the items; no VAT is charged on any line.
  3. Add your bank details.
  4. Download the PDF: the § 19 UStG note is printed under the total. Choose German as the invoice language if your customer is German.

Frequently asked questions

Who counts as a Kleinunternehmer?
Since 2025: turnover of at most €25,000 in the previous year and not over €100,000 in the current one (§ 19 (1) UStG). Pass €100,000 during the year and VAT applies from that sale on.
What must the invoice show?
Under § 34a UStDV: your and the customer’s name and address, the date, what was supplied, the price, and a note that the small business exemption applies.
Is what I type uploaded?
No. The invoice is made in your browser and nothing leaves your device.
Is this tax advice?
No. It is a template; check the thresholds with a tax adviser if in doubt.
