This tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and you can even turn off your internet connection before you start.
How it works
- Drop the .xlsx onto the box. Every sheet with something in it is printed, each starting a new page.
- Leave the paper on “Choose for me” — a wide table is turned landscape on its own.
- Press Convert to PDF.
Frequently asked questions
- Does it keep my colours and borders?
- No. This prints the values, not the formatting: no cell fills, no borders you drew, no conditional formatting. It is worth knowing before you download rather than after. What it does do is what a spreadsheet cannot do by itself — decide where the pages fall, measure the columns against the paper, and repeat the header row at the top of each page so page four is still readable.
- What happens to formulas?
- The value each formula produced is printed, which is what a reader of the PDF would want. The formula itself is not in the PDF, because a PDF has nowhere to put one.
- My table is too wide for the page.
- The columns are squeezed to fit, in proportion to how much width they asked for, so one very wide column does not crush the rest to nothing. If it is still cramped, choose Landscape. Text that no longer fits its column wraps onto more lines rather than being cut off.
- Are numbers still lined up?
- Yes — anything the tool reads as a number is set to the right of its column and text to the left, which is how a column of figures is meant to read. A value with letters in it stays text, where it means what it says.
- Is my spreadsheet uploaded?
- No. The file is read and the PDF written in your browser. Free PDFs end with a small “Made with nouplo.com” line; Pro removes it, along with the limits of 20 MB per file and 10 runs per day.
