This tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and you can even turn off your internet connection before you start.
How it works
- Drop the scan files: PDFs from the iPhone Notes and Files scanner, Google Drive scan, Adobe Scan, CamScanner or a copier that emails each page separately.
- Drag them into reading order. Scanner apps name files by timestamp, so check the first page of each rather than trusting the name.
- Press Merge scans. Pages are copied as they are, so nothing is re-compressed or blurred; the merged file is roughly the sum of the inputs.
- If a page is sideways, run the result through Rotate PDF; if it is too big to send, use Compress PDF. Both keep the merged order.
Frequently asked questions
- Why do my scans come out as separate PDFs?
- Most scanner apps save one PDF per session. If you scanned a contract over several sessions, or a copier emails each page on its own, you end up with many single-page files, while recipients and portals expect one document.
- Can I merge images and PDFs together?
- Not here; this tool takes PDFs only. Convert JPG or HEIC scans to PDF first with JPG to PDF, then merge the results.
- Some pages are rotated or upside down.
- Merge first, then open Rotate PDF and enter the affected page numbers, for example 3, 7-8. The rotation is written into the page, so every viewer and printer shows it correctly.
- The merged file is huge.
- Phone scans are photos at 200 to 300 dpi; ten pages can reach 20 to 30 MB. Compress PDF at Balanced shrinks them several times over while keeping the text readable.
- Is there a limit on files?
- The free plan merges 3 files per run, 20 MB per file, 10 runs a day. For more scans merge in rounds (3 files, then the result plus 2 more), or Pro removes the limits. Either way the files are combined in your browser and never uploaded.
