This tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and you can even turn off your internet connection before you start.
How it works
- Photograph each receipt flat on a dark surface, straight on, filling the frame. Trim stray background with Crop image if needed.
- Drop the photos in the order you want them in the report, for example by date. Each photo becomes one page.
- A4 portrait with a 24 pt (about 8.5 mm) margin is preselected. Each receipt is scaled to fit inside the margins and centred on the page.
- Press Make receipt PDF. Several photos become one file named images.pdf; rename it to something like 2026-09-expenses.pdf and attach it to the claim.
Frequently asked questions
- Why A4 pages instead of the photo size?
- Expense systems and accountants print or archive claims on standard paper. Pages that are all A4 print without scaling surprises and read consistently in the viewer; a page the size of a phone photo does neither.
- Why a 24 pt margin?
- Most printers cannot print the outer 5 to 8 mm of a sheet. 24 points is 8.5 mm, so nothing is lost when the report is printed, and there is room for a stamp or a staple.
- Long receipts are tiny on the page.
- A very long, thin receipt is scaled to fit the page height, which makes small print hard to read. Photograph it in two halves and use two pages, or switch the page size to Same as image for that file.
- Can I put several receipts on one page?
- Not directly. Lay the small receipts side by side and photograph them together as one image; that image becomes one page.
- Are the photos uploaded? What are the limits?
- No, the PDF is assembled in your browser and never sent to Nouplo. The free plan takes 3 photos per run, 20 MB each, 10 runs per day; for a month of receipts use Merge PDF to join the runs, or Pro to remove the limits.
