How it works
- Add the PDF.
- Leave “join the pages into one tall image” on — that is what this page is for.
- Add a gap between the pages if you want the joins to show.
- Download. It is one image, however many pages there were.
Frequently asked questions
- How tall does it get?
- A ten-page A4 document at the default scale is about 33,000 pixels. Some browsers and some apps refuse a picture that tall, and you are warned when it goes past about 32,000 — drop the scale to 1 if it does.
- Which format should I choose?
- JPEG for anything with photographs in it, PNG for text and diagrams, where it stays sharp and often ends up smaller. There is no transparency either way: the pages are drawn on white.
- Why would I want this rather than the pages separately?
- To post a document where only a picture will go — a forum, a chat, a listing, a social post. One image scrolls; ten attachments do not.
- Can I get the pages separately instead?
- Turn the join setting off and you get one file per page, which is what the main PDF to JPG page does.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. It all happens in your browser.
